Welcome to Troop 369!

Welcome to the web site of Troop 369! Our troop can provide you and your son the opportunity to participate in activities that are not available to many other boys of his age.  The goal of our troop and the Boy Scouts of America Program is to build our Scouts into successful young men of exceptional honor and character. The Boy Scouts of America Program will also provide our Scouts with ample opportunities to improve their teamwork and leadership skills.

See why you won't be disappointed when you join us for fun and adventure!

Memorial Day 2021

This year as we remember those that fought and died to preserve the freedom of this country take a moment and think about their sacrifices.  Hopefully next year we can return to Montgomery Cemetery.

memorial day quotes

"Ceremonies are important. But our gratitude has to be more than visits to the troops, and once-a-year Memorial Day ceremonies. We honor the dead best by treating the living well."

Treasure Island Camping May 21-23

Posted by scampanella on May 9 2021 - 9:00pm

Join the troop for a trip into the past!  This event will be rustic camping on Treasure Island and will include canoeing and archery.

Treasure island camping will be a truly unique experience!  This will be a considered a backpacking trip; this means every scout will need to be self-sufficient for the weekend.  Please look at the welcome packet to familiarize yourself with the camp policies.

Mess kits, hiking boots, closed-toe water shoes are required. Each scout needs to carry his personal gear plus his share of patrol gear to the barge and on to the camp site.  Hands free..

This is a great opportunity to wrap up the backpacking portion of the cooking requirements!  Leave no trace... pack it in and pack it out.

Plan on meeting at Visi by 545 pm Friday night, packed and ready to go!  This means cook gear, tents tarps, rain-fly's and food are distributed to the scouts before Friday night.  We will embark on the river barge by 7 and hike to our camp site.  Everything, including water will be hauled to our site.  Archery 0900 Canoeing 1400
